Several counties in the Triad have free, family friendly events that are both fun and informative! Forsyth Creek Week Forsyth Creek Week includes activities for all ages to help us understand and appreciate the importance of the local waterways. There are many free events that include recreational activities, hands-on learning opportunities, guest speakers, and more. These events are children and family friendly! Activities include bike rides, bird walks, fishing, paddle boarding, segway glides, and more! There are many "Just For Kids" activities scheduled, such as family fishing fun, a solar car workshop, and an Otter Animal Encounter. Link to all of the kids activities here.
